How to contact our team
London Borough of Lewisham Green Scene Department commissioned Groundwork London to develop a masterplan for Mayow Park and identify priority projects. For Groundwork, stakeholder involvement and engagement is essential to the development of our work.
In November 2008, the project started with a walkabout involving local people in Mayow Park. Over the past year we have conducted further consultation with stakeholders. At a public meeting on 17 November 2009, Groundwork and Sue Morgan (Around the Block Ltd) presented the draft masterplan to stakeholders.
The next steps will be to produce the final masterplan document with community endorsement, agree priorities and develop a funding strategy to implement work. Subject to funding, improvements to the park could include, new play areas, fences and paths; and improved facilities such as toilets and café.
The draft masterplan is available for you to download. We would also appreciate if you could take some time to complete the attached questionnaire. Our aim is that we can feed your comments into the final masterplan document.
The deadline for responses is Friday 29 January 2010. Please forward your comments and completed questionnaires to Martin Hyde, Green Space Regeneration Manager at Lewisham Council (details below).
