How to contact our team
We work with people to help them improve where they live and their quality of life. We give them meaningful involvement in the development of their area.
Our teams of specialists are experienced in getting people to speak out, taking on-board their views and translating these into positive changes.
We also develop projects that bring people together from different backgrounds and age groups – reducing conflict and boosting neighbourliness. And we help people adopt healthier lifestyles by becoming more active or being involved in food growing.
Location: Haringey Groundwork London successfully transformed an underused and neglected green space, suffering from anti-social behaviour issues, into a valuable community asset. Location: Haringey Groundwork prepared a masterplan for a playscape which would make maximum use of the space. The new proposal aimed to capitalise on the exciting topography of the site and create a new series of play features which would reflect some of the features of the old fort but would provide far more play value to a broader age group. The design sought to create more opportunities for children of different abilities, with more play features accessible from ground level or close to ground level, or facilities where both a child and a carer would be able to play together. The project sought to retain as much of the old play area that was useable or recycleable and new timber furniture was manufactured from recycled timber.
