Groundwork London was commissioned by the London Borough of Haringey to work with the Friends of Stationers Park to undertake a consultation which aimed to bring the community together to create a shared vision for the space. After preparing a masterplan, a new medieval-themed playscape was built and the opening was held in autumn 2011.
Location: Hanwell, London The Playscape approach illustrates how the entire landscape can offer play value rather than simply relying on springy chickens,rubber impact surfacing and bow top fencing.
Location: Lewisham, London Natural Play is concerned with children of all ages being active and creative, taking appropriate risks to learn their boundaries and valuable lifelong lessons.
Location: Ealing Windmill Park Play Project began with a need to utilise under-used green spaces on the Windmill Park Estate and provide play provision for the estate’s younger people.
