People and pets participate in Burgess Park fun days

Over 100 people participated in the Young friends of Burgess Park fun days in Southwark during half term week from 15 to 19 February 2010. The activities were organised by environmental charity Groundwork London who re-launched the Young Friends of Southwark Parks project on behalf of Southwark council. The half term activity week coincided with the International Year of Biodiversity and young people kept boredom at bay by taking part in a range of exciting organised activities each day.

Vote for regeneration of Pineapple Playscape, Hammersmith & Fulham

Groundwork London is working with the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham and Langford Primary School in Sands End, Fulham to transform a dilapidated play area in Pineapple Park into an exciting playscape. The Pineapple Playscape has entered the Bovril Great Outdoors Revival to win a share of £100,000 to help fund this project and Groundwork London are encouraging local people to vote online for the venture to receive a share of the money.
